Cranial Osteopathy
Very light contact at the head and neck to ease tension patterns.
Holistic healing and relief.
Manual osteopathy is hands-on, whole-body work. Rather than treating a sore spot in isolation, we look at how everything connects — and give the body room to settle back into balance.
Every session is built around what your body needs that day. These are the techniques used, often several within one appointment.
Very light contact at the head and neck to ease tension patterns.
Gentle work with the mobility of the organs and surrounding tissue.
Rhythmic, light-pressure technique to encourage fluid movement.
Guided movement to restore range through stiff or restricted joints.
Sustained pressure into the connective tissue that wraps the muscles.
Focused pressure on tight bands of muscle that refer pain elsewhere.
Hands-on work through muscle and tendon to reduce tension.
You gently contract against resistance while the joint is guided.
Work around the jaw joint for clenching, grinding and jaw tension.
What brought you in, how long it's been going on, what makes it better or worse, and what your days ask of your body.
A look at how you move and stand, then hands-on assessment to find where things are restricted.
A combination of techniques chosen for what was found. Most of it is gentle. Nothing happens without telling you first.
Simple things to do at home — movement, positioning, or stretches — and a sense of how many visits might help.
Not sure whether osteopathy is the right fit? Call and ask. It's a short conversation and there's no pressure either way.
